King Point Marina provides both permanent and visitor berthing in Plymouth for up to 151 sailing yachts and motor vessels ranging from seven and a half to twenty-five meters in length. The facility is bringing Millbay’s inner basin, designed and built by pioneering engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel in 1857, back to life.
King Point Marina is part of the transformation of the Coastal Quarter in Plymouth and is seen as one of the flagship steps in a series of developments that include a new boulevard that will link the popular waterfront with the city centre and a dramatic Dubai style structure containing luxury apartments with a view over Plymouth Sound. Creating an impressive focal point for the entire Millbay regeneration project, this is the perfect place to berth your boat in Devon.
Amongst the other facilities, King Point Marina includes a contemporary two-storey building with striking views over Plymouth Sound, Drakes Island and beyond. The building offers a marina office with amenity facilities on the ground floor and a first floor restaurant called The Dock. The Dock receives rave reviews for their food, service and ambience. They even stock their very own brand of Sailor’s Coffee.
