Sutton Harbour Group – Response to Covid-19
Sutton Harbour Group is implementing changes in its marina operations in accordance with UK Government Guidelines during these unprecedented times.
In his announcement on March 23rd 2020 the Prime Minister ordered the closure of many areas of activity for a period of at least three weeks, which includes the leisure industry. These unprecedented circumstances require extraordinary measures which will of course present great challenges, disrupt our daily lives and the normal operations of our business.
Accordingly, we have had to temporarily close our marina offices and fuel facilities to berth holders and visitors. The office remains functional and can be contacted directly by emailing marina@sutton-harbour.co.uk or telephone 01752 204702 or 01752 204691.
We are encouraging all berth holders aboard at the present time to leave the marina and return to their home address for their own safety and the wellbeing of others.
As key workers, our harbour team will continue to look after the marina facility and berthed vessels, by undertaking regular safety checks in accordance with the prescribed social distancing guidelines.
Berth holders with enquiries or requiring specific assistance are asked to please email marina@sutton-harbour.co.uk or call and the marina team will endeavour to assist.
We must do all that we can to stop the spread of this virus and we are urging our marina community and all those visiting the harbour to be responsible and to play their part in following the measures as set out by the UK Government.
As further government advice is issued, we will continue to issue updates on any changes which may further affect the operation of the marina.
